Owing to its location, Paris has a temperate, oceanic climate, also known as affectionately as the City of Lights. Owing to the amount of places to visit a short stay in Paris will be a busy one,you can never become bored in this beautiful city.
It is famous for many famous buildings and locations,it is the home of the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and many other famous tourist attractions. BTW, I found a site about cottages for rent in Spanish: stuga uthyres. Fortunately for tourists, Paris has a first rate transportation system, the Metro underground system is easy to understand, efficient and reaches everywhere even the most enthusiastic tourist would want to visit.
You can't miss the Eiffel Tower, mainly because it’s over three hundred meters high,it provides stunning views from the top and is visible throughout most of the city. At night, it comes alive with lights that have to be seen to be believed, guided tours are available where the patriotic tour guides give you an in depth history and an insight to what it is to be French
If you plan on spending some of your traveler's checks in Paris, then a trip down the Champs Elysees is an essential part of a trip, you can see beautiful shops, sit and drink coffee from the many cafes or have a meal in a first class restaurant. When you visit this region of the city you will see it is a much more select area, most of the five star hotels are located here but more affordable hotels can be found further out.
This city is also the home to the renowned Louvre Museum, with over 300,000 wonderful artistic works, you simply cannot see all of it in one day. There are so many exhibits here they cannot all be viewed during a short stay in Paris, approximately 8 million visitors a year come to see the Venus de Milo and the Mona Lisa, both of which are on display. Paris has attracted world famous artists for hundreds of years, many of whom left large collections of their paintings here like Monet and Picasso.
Another famous Paris attraction is The Arc de Triomphe which was built within the first decade of the nineteenth century, engraved with the names of generals that commanded his troops, it has become a popular photo spot for tourists visiting Paris. Although not generally well known, the Arc had an observatory installed after it was constructed to provide views of neighboring areas, including all the avenues of which it is a focal point.
You will not be at a loss for places to visit while in the city, there are plenty of others to keep you occupied but to make the most of your time, use one of the guided tours. Most people find their Paris short stay vacations exciting but only see a glimpse of what's on offer, anything else on your ‘to see' list can wait for your next trip.
